Apology

It's never a good sign when a student leaves you an apology at the end of their essay. I had a pile of Y13 trial exams to tackle today and it felt like a bit of a battle to get through them. This note made me smile - not least because it was far from being the worst!  

Having worked this morning, Bailey and I went for a walk around the lakes at Whisby in the drizzle for a good catch up and to swap presents with a friend. Bailey was confined to the car whilst we had tea and cake. 

Tonight has been Strictly and listening to Bailey snoring. Early nights for both of us before a final (4 day) week ahead. Lots to do but the end is very definitely in sight.
