A Lawn Again At Last

Having complained  about the standard and pace of the building work, it is only fair to say that the heavy work was, with a few exceptions, quite good. About 120 tonnes of top soil had to be added by our second lot of builders, to replace hat which disappeared while our first lot of builders were here. Victoria, my granddaughter, and I did just a little additional levelling to get everything almost back to where it was; we are still a bit short of soil at the far side of the pond. However, the grass seed which we sowed, although slow to grow, has at last provided a very satisfactory lawn.
