More Work: A Computer In Trouble

My Dell computer had some picked up some malicious software, this was quite apparent, in that it took it into sites that I did not wish to visit. None of the antiviral programmes that I tried found any problem. I therefore decided to delete the entire system and replace it with a backup from an earlier date. This appeared to work, but there are now some programmes that will not yet work and a great deal of data etc., that I now need to be reinstalled. Perhaps it is just as well that I do not feel much like doing heavy work, this will take a while.
