The Advent Calendar is a popular way to count up days in december until Santa Claus comes. This is my calendar:)

Good grief this Advent Calendar challenge is making me grazy!
The links that I have shared you contain more of less slow and almost suicidally sentimental finnish christmas songs.

This is maybe the most awful. Varpunen jouluaamuna, a Sparrow at xmas morning tells sad story of a bird and it's feeder.

I wonder how finns have managed to live here at all! In the past very few light in winter time as there is so low amount of population - not too much now either - and having cold weather and ice, and all those sad songs during the christmas.
Finland is also full of awful sayings, like "there will be cry after a good laugh" and "you will fall down if you reach up to the tree" (which can be useful though, when you try to set the star up to the christmas tree)

Sigh.

Nice to be able to visit (and even nicer to also leave) Helsinki today. I met new collaques today, very silent folkes.

Is it only monday????

There was only cold in Helsinki, so it was lovely that we still have white lightening snow as I got back home in the evening!
