Electric tree

Today after a lie in to recover from our trip we went to see my better half's sister for lunch. She works at La Defence at EDF. We took the tube and had fun as your can't use the RER to get off at La Defence but you can if you get of at the same station as if you arrived by the Metro.

After lunch we went shopping. There was a lot of security theatre on display, rather pointless and wastes a lot of time, but apparently people feel happier being randomly frisked on their way into shops.

Today's back blip is a shot of a rather jolly electric Xmas tree at La Defence. I've also added a nice shot down the Champs-Élysées towards the Arc de Triomphe. There is also a strange and colourful shot - any ideas what it is?
