A busy day. I have acquired another lodger. Someone with an emergency, but temporary. Hope she's a worthy successor to Anna and Daniela.

Anyway, quite a lot to sort out quite quickly.

Ah, yes. The Blip. The local Lions Club are out rattling their cans for some worthy cause. Santa's Sleigh and megadecibel music blasting out to encourage that "festive spirit".

The music may be a tactical error. It gives the canny locals time to switch off the lights, make sure the blinds are closed and pretend they're out.

I'm OK. I have a "get out of jail free" card. My son is one of the local Lions so I'm exempt from harrassment. Until he gets home...
