Approaching Winter Solstice

It's kind of a dark image, but then it is kind of a dark time of year. Five days to go and it should be getting brighter.

I decided today is a day to be industrious. Aside from tackling the task of wrapping Christmas presents (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone), I have created a bit of order with the flea market objects I have been buying as props for my photography. I purchased a shelf from Ikea for that purpose (so nice that it was delivered to our 4th floor apartment), and now the room is tidier but a bit more crowded than it already was. You can't win.
