Achilles and Paddington

We visited Hanbury Hall in Worcestershire today. We had planned to have a decent walk around the surrounding countryside, but rain (or rather heavy drizzle) stopped play unfortunately.
It’s looking very pretty inside right now, with all of the Christmas decorations.
This is the main staircase, and here there are several rather splendid and quite famous wall paintings which depict the story of Achilles, and on the ceiling are several Olympian gods.
At the other end of the artistic spectrum, this evening went to the village Film Club, for the much awaited screening of  Paddington. I must admit to laughing until the tears ran down my face. As RockArea would say - there wasn't a dry seat in the house.
