Slush Puppy

This lady and her Slush Puppy provided a nice splash of colour at Stratford Railway Station today.
I was huddled in about 10 layers of clothes (ok, four) and she was wearing a dress and drinking/eating an icy concoction. It made me shiver - not only because the very thought of an icy drink set my teeth on edge, but a BLUE icy drink??
We've just had the pleasure of the company of some firemen in our kitchen! No, it was not my cooking - evidently they are visiting properties to check smoke alarms and to give advice about candles and over-loading sockets etc. at Christmas time. I must say that I'm delighted that they had nothing else to do, i.e. in the fire-putting-out department.
