Fish 'n' Chips on the Bay

The majority of today was spent relaxing in our apartment which is located within the heart of an olive grove. We feed the ducks, petted the cat, walked around the olive grove and sat by the pond reading. It was a gloriously sunny day if a bit windy. For the afternoon we headed down to Coopers beach and Mangonui, a small but picturesque old fishing town. We had dinner at Mangonui Fish Shop, a chippy on stilts built out into the harbour. The fish, the catch of the day was a 'blue nose' and it was fantastic. Stuarts chicken burger went down well too. It was a lovely place to watch the sunset over the bay and might have even finished the evening with an ice cream.
