My Friend Sarah Cook

Sarah,  (my friend since the 1970s) was employed as a college librarian, and then spent many years at Academic Books, a company which provided trade books to educational institutions. During those years she hosted an eclectic music program on our community radio station, drawing from her vast collection of LPs. She has cultivated a deep spiritual practice and is completing a 2 year program at the Urban Center for Spirituality. Recently she exhibited some disturbing physical symptoms. I am worried about her and was relieved to visit her today. She's under a doctor's care and we will know more in the next few days.
