Tubular Bells

These are the tubular bells, or chimes, that were played at the Ex Cathedra, "Christmas Music by Candlelight" that we attended this evening. There were about 10 of us from our village, making the adventurous trek to the centre of Birmingham, to St Paul's Church.
A quick snorter in a nearby pub, aptly named "The Refectory" , and then we were off, complete with cushions, and flasks of tea and coffee and mince pies. I should point out here that I had completely forgotten about the drinks/mugs/cushions/mince pies, so we begged, borrowed, and stole from our fellow village-concert-goers/Blippers. 
It was enchanting, and a very lovely start to Christmas. It was then back to LS and TP's for an almost midnight feast and drink.
