Skip's Blips

Monet to Matisse

My friend Marti treated me to a visit to a special exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Titled "Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse" the exhibit was fabulous, and the galleries were very crowded. Cleveland was the only U.S. venue for this exhibition of over 100 paintings by modern masters. Our stroll through the galleries lasted almost 2½ hours, after which we relaxed collapsed over lunch in the museum's Atrium. Needless to say, cameras were not permitted in the galleries, so today's blip is a display from the Winter Lights Lantern Festival titled Han Dynasty Reflections.

The extra is a photo of my friend, taken during our lunch break.
