Bridging Time

If I had thought that I was going to Blip this boat I would have swapped lenses and made a better job of it. The last time I Blipped a boat it had a face but a happy one. Even though it is possible to see only one of this boat's 'eyes' I don't think it's happy. It has been discarded and is gradually being reclaimed by the tides.

Christmas is portrayed as a happy time but for many people it is very emotional and can be quite sad. One tends to take stock and sometimes feelings of regret creep in. 

My sister and I went for a walk at Heybridge Basin with an old friend from way back. I was extremely touched by her fond talk of our father and time spent with our family.
