Posada

We have attended this street celebration every year since our arrival. The entire La Madera neighborhood comes out for this annual fun-fest. The stage and chairs are set up right in the middle of the street and people come from all over Zihuatanejo to watch the performances, eat food from the various vendors, and bask in the camaraderie of the season. My wife enjoyed a chile relleño with rice and we bought conchita pibil and tamales to go. We both relished sitting street side watching the parade of people going to and fro. It is a shame it only happens once a year.
