Christmas rain......

.....produced Christmas droplets delicately dangling from my tiny heuchera flowers, natures tiny baubles, pretty for today's Tiny Tuesday's challenge.

A spruce up at the hairdressers this morning and feeling like a change, a few blonde highlights were added along with the softest touch of burgundy - certainly had Daughter E's seal of approval once I got home.

Then it was straight into Christmas baking with the best assistant ever by my side. I quietly thanked by dear mother-in-law for teaching hubby some excellent kitchen skills as we worked together baking snowballs, chocolate caramel slice, white Christmas and shortbread. The shortbread will be a winner this year as hubby creamed the butter and icing sugar until it was almost white, it certainly kneaded beautifully once the cornflour and flour was added. Tomorrow we'll make vegan chocolate brownie - dairy free dark chocolate with coconut milk along with normal ingredients and some walnuts for a little crunch - sounds delish!

Persistent light rain from 11am, great for the garden and lawn and also for the rural sector, 17C was certainly refreshing after yesterday's scorcher of 36C!!

Happy Tuesday everyone :)
