Little Shop of Gifts

After yesterday's heat it has been a cold damp day. This morning was warmer but for the rest of the day it was only around 11c. 

It has been a day of not much. I did want to go out and get a few things for Christmas, but John said we went out yesterday. We didn't shop!. I was told we could go on Thursday as I have appointment at Social Welfare to get signed on for my pension. I said no that is far too late, I have to go tomorrow. 

I spent most of the afternoon reading and it is a really good book. Had trouble putting it down. It is called, 'Dancing in the Moonlight' by Rita 
Bradshaw. A story of two families set in the 1920s England.
