Winter Solstice - sunrise

The Winter Solstice occurred today in Oslo 05:49, 
the shortest day in the year, just 5 hours, 53 minutes and 54 seconds. 

Lovely to see the start on the sunrise today, and even more beautiful when I was sitting on the train :-)

And tomorrow? The day is 8 seconds longer! Hurray! 

The extra shot is how different expressions there are in Oslo Gospel Choir just after the sang this psalm. They held a free concert at Oslo Central station.
