Feeling the cold

So headed back to Jo'burg today from just short of the Swaziland border, the last leg of another fantastic trip. It was a day of contrasts, starting off grey and chilly (not by Scottish standards!) and these young swallows didn't seem too happy about it. But it started to brighten up and get warmer as we left the mountains behind and headed out of forestry land and into mining country. By the time we passed the Kelso exit, heading for Springs, normal service was resumed. A short sprint down the motorway and we were back home, dirty washing sorted, bed made, beers in hand and already reminiscing!
