Larry and Xander

Xander is studying violin. His dad Larry is working with him to help him become more and more musical. Xander is about to move up to the gifted program and get an adult sized violin. He works hard at his practicing and we can hear a real difference in his playing this year. Here is the large version of the photo.

Larry is the principal trumpet with the Vancouver BC Symphony. He is here to play in the Bellingham Festival Orchestra and we are hosting him during the festival. It's our fifth year hosting Larry and we have gotten to know his family over the years. They often come down for short visits while Larry is here. They head home tomorrow.
