A Canadian Pastime

In the true Canadian winter spirit, the neighbours were out clearing a skating rink on the pond as soon as the ice was safe enough (or perhaps even a bit before it was technically safe enough). A game of shinny was already underway even before they'd finished clearing the snow completely.
