Christmas Bake Off

One thing I love about Christmas is homemade sausage rolls with shortcrust pastry … so today was the day to make them! After a poor night’s sleep I was up early so decided to mix up the sausage meat, onions and seasoning ready for the sausage rolls tonight (as you do!).

Work was surprisingly busy for Christmas wind-down, but thankfully traffic was lighter! So once home it was straight into the sausage roll making … with hubby wanting some marmite flavoured ones! With not everyone liking marmite I decided to mark those ones with a ‘M’ … just hope my son Matthew doesn’t think the ‘M’ means it’s for him!!

The rest of the evening was a pure relaxing / watch TV to chill and wind down for bed … in th ehope of a good nights sleep!
