it means Xmas Eve in German if you were wondering.

We were out at the City Of Bears for our traditional "bunter Teller" (that translates as "colourful plate" but that gets nowhere near the meaning of what it is).

It was a great deal of fun to sit and chat about Xmas traditions and a million other things.

And we also had a little glass of bubbles - it is that time of year, you know.

Although it's pretty much always the right time for a glass of bubbles. 

And then we came home to discover that is a truth (almost universally acknowledged), that if you drive a Mercedes, you are a thoughtless Arschloch. Huge Mercedes parked in front of our house blocking the path and making it difficult to get into our carport - ich hoffe seine nächste Scheiße ist ein Igel.
