Christmas Eve on the Beach

We had a lovely day taking it really easy in the morning and then a bit later we went out to town. After a little shopping and visiting we went to the beach at Smitingen. By the time we got there (14:30) the sun had gone down but the light was lovely. The sandy beach was frozen and covered in a mix of frost and snow. The only sand showing was that washed by the waves.
