Fairly busy but very enjoyable day today. First off the weather was unusually unrainy so some of us got away for a fairly swift walk up the hills, passing this quarry which offered an oasis of calm away from the wind. Mystery how the tree survives the rather hostile ground it's in.
Then a little shopping and A joined us for the afternoon.
In the evening we went over to Worcester to meet up with S and Talia at her parents and had a very pleasant evening with mulled wine and games. Played Mysterium for the first time - a cooperative mix of Cluedo and Dixit - excellent. Then we played Codenames where M nearly got done in with the lead piping in the lounge. Thankfully I couldn't get my hands on any lead piping at the time.
Just how did they (he) choose 'Ruler' over 'Ball' from the clue 'Geometrical' ?
