Squirrel

I didn't have the best camera with me today for this kind of shot.  However the bright winter morning sunlight was beautiful and the squirrels (and I) were making the most of it before the forecast rain over Christmas.

I was interested to observe one squirrel collecting piles of dead leaves in its mouth and then running up a tree - presumably building or repairing a drey.  I'm not sure if that is normal at this time of the year, or whether the unusually mild weather has confused the animal.  (Some trees are actually in blossom, some 3 or 4 months early,.)
