In the Pink

My lovely friend Rachel gave me three lily bulbs for my birthday last September. I planted all three in one of my big pots. This glorious dark pink one is the first to bloom. It is giving me a lot of pleasure and every time I see it I am reminded of Rachel.
We have had a very busy family day with yet another barbeque meal at lunchtime. All great fun with more than enough food and drink. Maisie the pup has had a busy day but has put herself to bed in her crate at times to recuperate and prepare for her next session of hilarious activity. The cats remain unimpressed.
