Red warning for rain in Bingers :(

Wow the weather has been foul in Bingers.
We took the dogs for a walk along the canal towards Saltaire and were aghast at the overpowering wildness of the river Aire.  I don't believe I have ever seen it so rampantly destructive.  We did a circular walk along the canal and back through Hirst Woods but had to back track as the usual path was under water.
This is old Bingley main street... I spoke for a while to one of the residents of the houses.  They weren't being helped.. by any of the emergency services.  I offered my help.. a brew... and indeed my spare bed... but they had been inundated with offers from friends and family.
More rain forecast this evening... I'm thankful I live up the hill!
