5.39am start..............

Undoubtedly, the best time of the day.

Some say, there is just one 5.39 in the day (And that would be PM!)

Can you imagine waking up, pulling back the curtains and opening the balcony door to this view?

The West Bank air is fresh, clear and with the combination of the early morning temperature, earthly tones and sleepy hues, I cannot fail to be inspired and invigorated at what I saw today. No matter how you feel, when you see this and breathe the air, nothing seems impossible :-)

A day at ACE, the El Nada Land Zoo and The Moulid of Abu El Hagag, food shopping at the Mahatta Souk and unpacking at my very relaxed, temporary abode, has resulted in a Blip of peace and tranquility as the sun lit the ancient Theban Hills this morning...at 5.39am.

Most importantly, there is just the one balloon with tourists. We normally see 10-12 every morning. If you are thinking of coming to Luxor this year for a holiday, it is possibly, the best time to come..'You are welcome' as we say. 'Ahlan'
