Short and sweet

There was some decent wave action on Backaskaill today. We popped out with the dog and a football just as the tide was starting to go out.  Of course, it is a Spring tide and that meant that when we arrived we had around  2 feet of wet sand to walk upon. I took the camera but the sun at midday was causing a deal of glare on all that water.

By the time that we were walking back along the bay to come home, the sun had shifted well over the yard arm and Nell had much more space in which to play. That made her happy. Me, I contented myself with trying to capture some crepuscular rays as the sun dropped in the sky and played peek a boo with the gathering clouds. It was a very different day when we came home - and were only out about an hour and a half!

And now, it is bubble and squeak time! Looking forward to that.
