Tipples

After a lovely few days spent with family, we had to face facts that our shelves were bare and the dreaded New Years food/drink shop needed to be done.

We enjoyed a fairly leisurely morning before steeling ourselves for the task ahead. Surprisingly this was nowhere near as fraught as we'd imagined, made easier by the fact that the youngest child stayed at home with her older siblings which meant we could get the things on our list with few deviations.

We managed to fill the fridge, freezer and cupboards and get a variety of tipples to see in the New Year and it all took less than an hour. Our trip to the supermarket was made even sweeter by using the gift card the in laws had given us for Christmas too which meant that the entire shop cost us the princely sum of £3.68. Cheers!
