A Room With a View...

...and today is the first day we've seen it! The Fairfield horseshoe in all its splendour - and we were heading home... A great few days celebrating in Cumbria though, despite all the rain!
Lots of lakes where fields should have been on the way back, but the hold-ups all seemed to be going ( or not! ) the other way - phew! And then on the news - the floods have simply moved on elsewhere - such a miserable Christmas for some people. Hope they get back to something approaching normal ASAP.
