And Back To Work

Albeit only for three days.

The day started oddly.  I got to the bus stop and there was a little old man waiting.  We said "Morgen" as you do around these parts and then he started doing a whole series of warm-up exercises.  I never seen anyone do that while waiting for a bus.  It's like he thought he was going for a run, except it was a run in the bus.  Odd.

Got to work to discover I was the only person on my floor.  That was definitely odd.  A colleague who was meant to be working had decided to work from home and so it was just me on a very dark floor (I've never had to switch the lights on before and I don't know where they are and I couldn't find them).

I started working and that was my day.  Not a single interruption.  Not an E-Mail or a telephone call for the whole day.  I spoke to no-one and I wrote to no-one.  Never had a day like that before.

Here's hoping the next 2 days are the same.  I got quite a lot done today.

And I enjoyed 5 minutes in the city centre while I waited for my bus.  The market is coming down and I do like the fleur de lis.
