or red headed?

just goes to show - the power of pink... plus the power of red... is double the trouble on this particular flower! i don't know what these are - i see them everywhere though... they break open at this time of the season - lasting through the rest of the summer - a hearty thing - attracting the bees and other guests, too...

they are a wonderful specimen for shooting - however i've noticed that the lighting has to be just right - to get the coloring exact... otherwise, it doesn't come out like i see it through the lens... i don't understand why that is - i must be doing something wrong - this is one i must practice on more... refine my touch since i found myself getting a tad frustrated with it... but in the end - i liked how this shot turned out... bold - strong - finally making for...
