Waves

10.0C and mostly sunny with some cloud, and a hint of mist over the fields. Light to moderate breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Radio on the Nano for a change. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. The Craigmill burn was still running fast but the water level was much lower. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track was much drier.

We walked along the cycle path and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach at Westhaven. The tide was about halfway in, and in the contuinuing Southerly winds lots of waves were being driven in across the rocks and onto the beach. We stayed for a few minutes since it was so bright, then we crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
