Tropical

Well almost tropical.  With the sun shining this morning I decided to take a quick walk to the beach before taking our daughter to the train station for her return to London.  One of the routes to the sea passes along a back alleyway with views down to the sea.  It was here that I spotted the palm tree with the sea in the distance.

Our daughter was seen onto the train, its been lovely having her over for Christmas.  She also had to say goodbye to her brother who is likely to be travelling for most of next year.

Meanwhile back to the house and stocking up on food for the New Year celebrations.  Lets hope my husband recovers, he is in bed with a fever.
