High winds were with us all night and all today, but perhaps not as much rain as was expected.

We're okay, but so many people now have been affected in one way or another by these storms. Devastating scenes in Dumfries and other border towns and villages.
   
Good to see that the head of the Environment Agency has arrived back (early!) from his holiday in the sun. Interesting that he is also Chairman of 'London First'. I wonder if he knows where The North is!!
