But, then again . . . . .

The Weir (again).

After two days of regression, I felt much better and went for a productive walk today. In a break in the weather, I investigated the recent damage to our weir; while there are those who wish to rebuild it, Nature is doing her best to prevent this from ever happening. A heck of a lot of material, from fine silt to concrete slabs, has completely disappeared. As is obvious from this blip, a major part of the structure is timber which is now a bit rotten after spending more than 200 years under water.
