Waiting for the new year

New year eve with teens again. Hubby working as always, this time a live several hours broadcast from Tampere hall. So our family tradition has always been to spend time in new year's eve just the three of us.

Nice to have teens still at home. We watched ice-hockey, young finn lions won Chekoszlovakia. Very good hockey.

I wonder what kind of new year's eves future will bring. Remains to be seen...

Special greetings to the blipper Gadgetkid in Dubai - we had a nice short chat as I watched a great 20' fireworks live from Dubai (broadcasted live in finnish video in demand channel). They had has a nice warm +19c night...

And we had a nice late dinner with teens and then drove to the city centre to see fireworks. In the blip there is city centre of Tampere with a lot of people waiting for the fire show.

There has been this study about finnish wearing black clothing. The black colour is apparently is a protective colour, like animals we try to adapt into the surroundings...in the blip you can see why black is so beautiful and protective?... :)

Ps. Some fireworks in the extras from the Tampere city centre. The fireworks show was 5minutes long. It was quite windy and -3,5c. So me and teens were feeling cold, and were reliefed to get back into the cat.. Hot shower and a glass of champange/cola after we got back home :)
