Croome Court

As the weather was quite nice this morning we headed off to Pershore for coffee and then onto the nearby National Trust property, Croome Court.  This large country mansion set in a Capability Brown designed park with a wonderful outlook towards the Malverns is a work in progress with a 1940s NAAFI style canteen and RAF museum by the visitor centre.  The house is undergoing extensive restoration following a chequered past including original plasterwork painted by Hari Krishna followers and the sell off of wall to wall tapestries to the Metropolitan Museum, New York.

The main picture is of a structure in the grounds which I thought might be a good candidate for Derelict Sunday (DS11).  The extra is a collage of three of the modern art exhibition that is currently on display in the Long Gallery.
