Anatole's blips

Belerophon on the winged horse, Pegasus

We traditionally like to get out to the Chilterns for a bit if fresh air at this time. Today the weather looked to be the best and we parked up at Nettled and walked around the area. Passing through Bromsden farm we were a little taken aback by a full size 'bronze' statue of Beleophon riding the winged horse, Pegasus mounted on a concrete block. Upon closer inspection attuned out to be a little tatty and was suffering acute wing failure. One was on the ground and the other flapped feebly in the wind - also showing clearly that the 'bronze' was in fact faithfully painted fibreglass.

Makes for a dramatic blip though I thought.
