New Kid on the Block

Lunchtime today and this yacht appeared in the firth and dropped anchor. It had travelled up from the west coast through the Caledonian Canal.
After half an hour we saw the reason for dropping anchor as this huge swirl of Sea Haar came up the firth from the Moray Firth on the left of picture.
It burnt off after about half an hour and imediately another lot of Haar came swirling in. It burnt off again after an hour and the rumble of thunder started coming from the Nairn direction. The yacht then lifted anchor and made its way down the firth to the open sea.
So my blip for today, a New Kid on the Block, for a couple of hours at least.
