Him and Her

I saw him first, and only because I was looking for a damsel fly. He is such a slim slither of red that he was easily missed among the grass. Then I cast around for a female. She was less than a metre away. I was prepared to wait in hopes of catching some action, but suddenly it rained and my camera had to go indoors.
