Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

Gone are the clean good looks of the original colour scheme, in which the tower was stunning in it's White paintwork.
In order to save money, Portsmouth City Council have let Emirates Airlines, sponsor the tower, unfortunately, gone are the clean white lines of the tower, in favour of this very unpopular multi coloured affair. Initially Emirates wanted to paint the tower in a red livery similar to that of the cable car system they sponsor in Docklands, London. That plan was quickly kicked out by local residents and football supporters, who were quick to point out that the Southampton FC colours were Red and White.
I don't know if a Red and White tower would have been more pleasing on the eye than the current Mustard Yellow and blue, it certainly wouldn't have been any worse.
