Happy Birthday Clickychick

s the title suggests it is CC's birthday today.  I wouldn't dream of divulging a lady's age (and I don't expect you to either - you know who you are).   We make a habit of marking all our respective birthdays by going out for a meal with my brother and sister in law.

Today we chose Kyloes restaurant at the Cross Keys.  A pleasant evening with good food and good company.

Incidentally Kyloes I am given to understand is an old name for Highlander cattle.  They were called Kyloes because to get from the islands to the mainland they swam across the Kyles.  Under the supervision of the drovers of course.  The other pub run by the same people is the Highland Drove also with a restaurant also called Kyloes
