Beddgelert boyos (day two)

Woke up surprisingly cosy and not very hungover, which was a bit strange given the tent had started leaking through the night and we'd made our way through quite a few cases of lager, guinness and the odd half bottle of vodka.

Here's Lammie, cooking us up a BBQ breakfast at the entrance to the tent. It was blowing a gale outside in a typical north walian fashion but that didn't put him off, which is great from a 'that's the spirit lad' point of view but not so good if you don't want the tent to fill up with barbie smoke.

Some of the lads made it outside for a 7-mile run this morning, but seeing as I detest running and seeing as there were no mountain bikes around I opted for lying in my sleeping bag till the backs of my knees got clammy.

We made it out eaten, showered, dressed and raring to go for our pre-planned walk by about 11am, just in time to clap our clappy hands in support of the passing competitors of the Snowdonia Marathon. Quite how they can do so much upanddowniness for 20-odd miles is beyond me.
