All Packed!

One of the (very nice) perks associated with taking what Regent Cruise Lines calls a "Grand Voyage" is that our luggage is collected from us at our house, and delivered to the ship.  Then at the end of the cruise, the luggage company repeats the process in reverse, delivering our well-traveled bags back home.  This means we can sail (pardon the pun!) through the airport without a care in the world, swanning past the baggage carousels with our noses in the air.

I am rather proud of us.  We managed to pack 75 days worth of belongings into four suitcases, each of which weighing less than 50 pounds!  The luggage people will be arriving soon to whisk them away.  The next time we'll see our stuff, it will be in our cabin!

The extra picture is not a very good photograph, but hey -- it's not every day you wake up in the morning, gaze blearily out the window, and realize there's a fox digging up the remains of your vegetable garden!
