a flower for a change as taken too many xmas decorations recently for 'emergency blips'.  I had fun taking these as they are on the mantelpiece over a currently lit open fire. I liked the way they were catching the light from xmas lights around them so didn't want to move them but needed to stand almost in the fire to get close enough for this macro. It nearly was a true  'emergency' blip!
