Happy New Year

A very late start to the day after a very late night (3:00am by the time we got to bed)! Traditional New Year's day breakfast of porridge with honey, cream, and a dash of single malt. Then a short walk in the College Valley (see Extra) - grey and damp, but mild enough in the valley, though there was a scattering of snow on the tops.

Home for a birthday meal of venison stew (made by MrM) with lots of veg, (Tom and Lucy), followed by my home-made Christmas pudding. Delicious (though MrM make it very clear to one and all that he does NOT like Christmas pudding)!

Watched Kingsman: the Secret Service in the evening...
