Cool Curry

The rain continued well into the morning. We got 28mm altogether. All soft rain that soaked into the parched soil. It was desperately needed.

As soon as the light improved I went out with my camera. I stopped at the curry plant to see if I could find the little mantis nymph, but it was still too wet. I found it later when the flowers and buds had dried off a bit. Meanwhile, the hanging raindrops were rather pretty.

The outdoor temperature when I got up was under 6ºC. Later when the clouds lifted a little I saw that there was snow on the lower reaches of the mountains. The peaks remained covered all day.
